Introducing: Fortress Solitude
Jun Yokoo born Osaka 1977, spent his teenage years on a military base in Santa Barbara, USA where he became involved in the local underground music scene starting such bands as Virus, Severed Limbs and Hate Face while also starting the underground record label "10 Fingers On One Hand". Yokoo was a founding member of the music collective S.I.T.A.
Creating posters and tape covers for other bands in the area exposed Jun to the local art scene and galleries where he started making and exhibiting his artwork and drawings.
After developing health problems during the late 90's, Yokoo returned to Osaka to recover where he found peace and stopped recording music and making art. He devotes his life to his garden and to meditation. Fortress Solitude is his first project in over 20 Years.
