Working together since 2014, Nike and Pigalle have celebrated the cultural and social impact of basketball and its ability to bring together and create communities, throughout the world. Aside from creating apparel and footwear from these collaborative collections, they have also created programs together in Paris, Beijing and Mexico City, to provide safe sport spaces for locals.

Building upon the concept of "the power of sport to move the world", a sentiment that runs alongside Nike's own mission statement, Stéphane Ashpool has extended this credo outside of the court and onto the street with a Converse Chuck 70 that will coincide with the release of the Nike apparel. Reinterpreting the concept of the Nike collection and applying it to the Chuck 70, "the power of music to move the world forward" simultaneously pays homage to the musical ties the Chuck has with its humble beginnings on the basketball court.

The Nike and Converse x Pigalle collection will be available at Supply stores and online from Saturday 25th January.
