Inspired by its iconic history and signature designs, The North Face Urban Exploration presents its Fall 2019 collection, titled “The Archives, Reimagined,” for men and women. Since the brand’s beginnings until present day, we enable explorers of all walks — and we never stop exploring.

Designed for today’s city explorers who balance an active office and outdoor life, the new collection reinterprets TNF Urban Exploration’s archival products with urban elements, modern aesthetics and authentic utility.

To lead the collection, three of the brand’s classic and most popular outdoor functional jackets —the extreme-snow-tested “Rage”, the legendary “Nuptse” and the alpine-technical “Steeptech” — are reinvigorated with a modern approach and restyled for today’s city look. Each jacket reinvents its traditional fabrics by infusing top-notch technologies, offering explorers a contemporary city look with modern style and unexpected functions.

The new-season palette is rooted in a utilitarian foundation base of black, navy, khaki and olive. As the season heads towards the transition to winter, TNF’s iconic colors of bright yellow and rich red make a bold statement.

Created under “The Archives, Reimagined” theme, the Fall 2019 season kicks off in September with the release of three capsule collections:

CAPSULE 01: KAZUKI

Attuned to TNF Urban Exploration’s vision to balance utility with fashion, where high-quality outdoor-inspired silhouettes are translated for the urban setting, Kazuki Kuraishi has, yet again, created a unique modern-street look that combines premium materials and innovative details with his distinctive Japanese-minimalist styling.

CAPSULE 02: RAGE

The 1992 Rage Collection was a culmination of three years of experimentation, tested and tried by some of the world’s top skiers and extreme snowboarders.

Today, up-styled and updated for “The Archives, Reimagined” collection, the modern-retro Rage capsule brings outdoor-inspired pieces to today’s urban lifestyle setting.
